If I had a $1000 phone, that thing would have a wrist strap and a merry sturdy case. Obviously cases aren’t designed to resist lawnmower attacks, but still.

He had a case. Not a serious one, but I don’t think it would have done much better. We have insurance on all the devices at work so no biggie. I chose not to use a case on my 7 plus and it suffered a similar fate in my car door. I went back to a small phone with a case.
